Hello and Welcome! My name is Emily Ruger and I am the founder and principal of MuniGrant, a grant service agency serving municipal governments. Get to know MuniGrant by reading the questions and answers below.

Why did I create MuniGrant?

Government staff and officials are busy - there is too much to get done and too little time. MuniGrant was born from my experience as a former municipal staff member and the resources I wish I had. If you've ever experienced missing grant opportunities, rushing to meet deadlines, or putting together last-minute proposals, then MuniGrant is a service for you.

What services does MuniGrant offer?

MuniGrant offers comprehensive and holistic grant services, including grant writing, grant review and editing, award management, and project management. Services are tailored to the needs of municipal partners.

Do you offer grant planning and research?

Yes. Creating a grant plan is the most important (and underestimated) part of a good grant strategy. MuniGrants will be unrolling a set of online tools to support municipalities create their own grant plans. We can also assist in developing a grant strategy to fund your projects.

What is the cost?

Proposal writing ranges between $1,000-$5,000 depending on the funding source. Other services are typically on a per hour basis.
